The program

What the Microsoft MVP award is.

The Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) program is an award Microsoft gives to independent technology community leaders who share their expertise with others — through content, events, mentoring, open source and helping people solve real problems.

It is not an employment role and not a certification. MVPs are not Microsoft employees, and the award is not earned by passing an exam; it recognises community contribution.

My MVP Journey

My path here started with hands-on engineering. Building and operating cloud platforms, automating infrastructure and bringing AI workloads into production taught me that the most useful lessons rarely fit in documentation — they come from doing the work.

Over time I found that sharing those lessons mattered just as much. Teaching, mentoring and leading workshops became a natural extension of my engineering practice, and community became the place where that knowledge could travel further.

Being recognised as a Microsoft MVP is, for me, an encouragement to keep going: to keep learning in public, keep helping others and keep connecting engineering with the people who make it better.
